Radical Obedience
Following The Jesus Way
Radical obedience to Jesus means more than claiming a Christian identity—it requires immediate, costly discipleship. Throughout history, Christianity often became a cultural label rather than a chosen path of following Christ. The Anabaptists and early Brethren challenged this by insisting on conscious commitment to Jesus' way, even when it meant persecution. True discipleship means counting the cost, examining our assumptions, and being willing to disrupt social systems through our faithfulness. Following Jesus isn't a private decision but a public commitment that shapes every aspect of life, requiring us to drop our nets—our comforts and cultural habits—to follow Him wholeheartedly.
